Multi-Engine Add-On
Earning your Multi-Engine Rating allows you to fly aircraft with more than one engine, expanding your skill set and opening the door to more advanced and capable aircraft. This add-on rating enhances your safety, system management skills, and overall confidence in complex flying environments. While the FAA does not require a minimum number of hours for this rating, most pilots complete the training in approximately 10–15 hours.
All estimates are based on the national average of hours it takes students to complete requirements, not the minimum hour requirements mandated by the FAA.
